Each device is equipped as follow:
• 1 input F connector (TV IN) to connect terrestrial signal;
• 1 TV loop-through RF connector (TV OUT);
• 2 operation and signal LEDs (see the summarizing table chapter 4);
• 3 RCA connectors (Yellow -> Video output, White -> Audio Left, Red -> Audio Right);
• 1 slot Common Interface (only for SIG7540);
• Fixing screw holes to the rack basket;
• Openings for extractors, used for removing the module from sub-rack.
NOTE: For the correct CAM insertion in the slot Common Interface please refer to the Chapter 4.1.
ATTENTION: Refer to the chapter TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS to know the complete list of technical characteristics.
The module is installed in the sub-rack of the New HeadLine series (SIG7901 or SIG7902) as is possible to see in
the following photos. Take the module out of its packaging and install it in the required position of the rack. The
packaging contains the following parts:
•
N° 1 module (SIG7531 or SIG7540);
•
N° 1 75 Ohm load (CA75F);
•
N° 1 jumper KPR20.
After the insertion, fix the module
using
the screws contained in the
accessory bag. It's a "plug and play"
installation; therefore, the module is
ready to operate.
To remove the module use the handles included in the New Headline sub-rack. Remove from the back-panel the
screws of the module's to be replaced and insert the extractors into the rectangular slots. Rotate the extractors
90° to form a handle. Pull the handle with your hand to extract the module. Be careful because, after a first effort
to detach the module from the bottom panel connectors, the module can be easily removed. While removing the
module, be careful not to touch the covers because they can cause small grazes.
