Interior structure
Optical system
The optical system consists of tungsten lamp (W1),
deuterium lamp (D2) and spherical mirror (M1),
which reflects the light energy, emitted from the
tungsten lamp (visible light source) and deuterium
lamp (UV light source) and projects it on the incident
slit of the monochromator.
The computer-controlled stepping motor drives
mirror M1 to rotate so as to switch the source lamp.
The monochrome system consists of slit S1 and S2,
mirror M2, collimating mirror M3, M4, grating (G),
and filter group (F).
In the sample chamber, 8 cuvettes can be placed on
the cell holder R and S1 to S7 at the same time to
form a sample chamber unit. Lens L1 and L2 will
gather the spots on the cell holder and photocells.
Reference sample will be placed on R, and standard
sample or test sample will be placed on S1 to S7.
The optical system adopts asymmetric aberration
correction C-T arrangement and wavelength change
through the sine mechanism to obtain high quality
spectral lines.
At the exit slit can get monochromatic spectrum
with different wavelengths, which is also known as
monochromatic beam.
