Installing the grass catcher (Fig.7)
Assemble the left side (A) and the right side (B)
of the grass catcher using the specific clips. Now
I
fit the top (C) using the specific clips.
Once the grass catcher has been assembled,
raise deflector (D) and fit the grass catcher in

the upper part of the chassis (Fig.8).
Installing the battery
• Open the battery cover (10, Fig.2) by pressing

the locking button (11, Fig.2);
• Push the buttery pack into the battery seat
until the pushlock button (A, Fig.9) lock the
battery in its seat.

WARNING! Use only original battery
packs. The use of other batteries may

result in injuries, explosion and a fi re risk.
Removing the battery
• Open the battery cover (10, Fig.2) by pressing

• Pull release knob (A, Fig. 9) and remove the
battery from the machine.

5. STARTING

WARNING! The lawnmower is equipped

unauthorized use! Before starting the
lawnmower you must insert the safety plug

(13, Fig.2) and remove it whenever you
suspend or finish mowing.

- Start the engine in an open area, not on high

grass. Remove all stones, sticks, wires etc.
from the area to be mowed.
- Carefully read the Safety Rules listed in this
Manual.

- Before starting the engine, make sure the
blade is free to turn.
- Start the engine carefully according to
instructions and with feet well away from the
blade.
Start the engine (Fig. 10)
Before starting the lawnmower, insert safety
plug (A) into its socket (B), then press button (C)
and pull lever (D).

WARNING! In the case of overheating the
battery will be disconnected automatically
by the protection circuit for safety reasons.
Remove the battery from the machine and
allow it to cool. Once the battery has cooled it
can be refitted and work can be resumed.
6. USE
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- Never use the lawnmower on wet grass or on
other slippery surfaces. Hold the handlebar
firmly with two hands (Fig.11). Walk behind
the lawnmower, never run.
- Do not mow up or down a slope, but always
across it; if the slope is too steep, do not mow
(Fig. 12).
- Mow only in daylight or under strong artificial
lighting.
- Always check that rear deflector is properly in
place (Fig. 13).
- If you strike an object, stop the engine and
check for any damage; do not restart the
engine before carrying out the necessary
repairs.
- Do not tilt the mower when starting: the
blade could cause injuries.
- Never stand in front of the mower when the
engine is running.
- Stop the engine when crossing paths, drives
and when transporting the lawnmover to and
from the area to be mowed.
- Stop the motor and remove the safety plug
(13, Fig.2) or safety connector (12, Fig.2)
before removing the grass catcher or
cleaning the grass discharge chute.
- Always maintain a secure footing on slopes
(Fig. 14).
- Exercise extreme caution when changing
direction on slopes and when transporting
the lawnmover to and from the area to be
mowed.
- Ensure that only replacement cutting means
of the right type are used.
- Exercise extreme caution when reversing or
pulling the lawnmower towards you.
- Never touch the blades before having
disconnected the safety connector (12, Fig.2)
and before the blades have stopped
completely.
