- Check the tight of the transmission chains.
- Check the oil level in the gearbox and top up to level (T, Fig.
36) whenever necessary using the same type of oil (ACER 22)
whenever possible.
5.4 EVERY 400 WORKING HOURS
- Change the speed change gear oil completely with ACER 22 -
type oil (2 kg):
- oil drainage plug (U, Fig. 36);
- oil fi lling plug (V, Fig. 36).
5.5 RECOMMENDED LUBRICANTS
- For lubrication in general, we advise: AGIP ACER 22 OIL or
equivalent (specifi cation: CINCINNATI P-62; CETOP RP 91 H;
AFNOR NF E 48-600; AGMA 250.04; BS 4231 PAS 3; DIN 51
517; ASLE H-150, H-215, H-315; CINCINNATI P-38, P-54, P-55,
P-57).
- For all greasing points we advise: AGIP GR MU EP 2 GREASE
or equivalent (specifi cations: DIN 51825 (KP2K)).
5.6 SETTING ASIDE
At the end of the season, or if a long period of rest is for seen it
is advisable:
- Carefully empty all the seed from the hopper and distribution
ass'y.
- Wash the equipment with a lot of water, especially the tanks of
the chemical substances, and than dry them.
- Carefully check worn or damaged parts and replace if necessa-
ry.
- Tighten all screws and bolts.
- Grease the drive chains, oil all the drive chains, spread lubricant
on all the parts not painted.
- Protect the equipment with a (nylon) cover.
- Then put it in a dry place, do not move it and where it is out of
reach of un authorized people.
It is advisable to proceed with the following inspections before the
machine is set at work again:
- Check the oil levels in the gearbox and transmission unit. Top up
if necessary.
- Check the greasing points and add grease if required.
- Check all bolts and tighten them if necessary.
If these operations are done carefully, it will be to the total advan-
tage of the user because when work is recommenced, he will fi nd
the equipment in perfect conditions.
6.0 DEMOLITION AND DISPOSAL
This operation is to be carried out by the customer.
Before demolishing the machine, you are advised to carefully check

its physical condition and ascertain whether there are any parts
of the structure that may be susceptible to structural collapse or
breakage during demolition.
The customer should operate in compliance with the environment
protection laws in force in his/her country.
The machine demolition operations should be carried out
by skilled personnel only, equipped with suitable protective
clothing (safety footwear and gloves) and auxiliary tools and
equipment. All the disassembly operations for demolition
should be carried out with the machine stopped and detached
from the tractor.
Before demolishing the machine, you are advised to render harm-
less all the parts that may be a source of danger and therefore:
- scrap the structure using specialized fi rms,
- remove any electrical apparatus according to the laws in force,
- collect oils and greases separately, to be disposed of through
specialized fi rms, in accordance with the regulations of the
country in which the machine was used.
When the machine is demolished the CE mark should be destroyed
together with this manual.
Finally, we remind you that the manufacturer is always availa-
ble for any and all necessary assistance and spares.
