Faults, troubleshooting

8.1

General

The ultrasonic nebulizer underwent a thorough quality check at the factory. If a fault occurs despite these tests, you
may be able to rectify them yourself if you observe the following notices.
There is a fault indicator on the left side of the control panel at the ON/OFF switch. This lights up red if a fault occurs
or the set time has elapsed (timer end).
After completing the set time see5.6
After a fault occurred, switch the device off.
Press the ON/OFF switch to do this. Remove the cause of the fault if possible and switch the device back on. The
following can be potential causes of the fault:

Not enough nebulization when set

All LEDs are off and the device stops all functions
- Set the toggle switch at the rear to "0" (off)

Close the hose clip of the refilling system

If not in use (for more than 60 min.) Disconnect the mains plug

The plug is not positioned correctly in

Check position of the plug in the
device or power socket
Set on/off switch to On (I)
Set switch to On
Check main fuse
Replace fuse as described in 8.3
Have it repaired
Thermal switch has triggered. The
device is functional again after
cooling down for 10 minutes
Insert nebulizer chamber correctly.
Observe the preferred position
Refill nebulizer fluid
Screw quartz oscillator firmly into
the nebulizer chamber
Replacing the quartz oscillator
Thermal switch has triggered. The
device is functional again after
cooling down for 10 minutes
Have it repaired
Refill nebulizer fluid or remove some
Replace filter
Drain condensate. Re-route hose in
such a way that condensate can flow
back into the nebulizer chamber.
