1. Pull the headrest height regulator (N). This disengages the headrest
(fig.3.4).
2. Now you will be able to move the headrest to the desired height. When
you let go of the regulator, the headrest will remain fixed in the chosen
position.
3. Place the safety seat on the car seat.
4. Put your child in the safety seat and check the height. Repeat the
process until the headrest is at the correct height.
TIP: If the ideal headrest position for your child is set between two
positions, use the highest of the two.
3.4. Reclining positions.
This child restraint system has five reclining positions. Before putting your
child in the safety seat, select the desired reclining position by pulling the
lever situated between the car seat and the base of the safety seat.
CAUTION! To install the safety seat in a rearward-facing position (Group
0 + /1), the seat must be fully reclined (fig. 3.5).
CAUTION! To install the safety seat in a forward-facing position (Group 1/2),
select the reclining position that best fits your requirements. In Group 3,
the safety seat must not be used in any reclining position (fig. 3.6).
4. INSTALLING THE SAFETY SEAT IN REARWARD-FACING
POSITION.
WARNING
1. Locate the ISOFIX arms
them out by pressing the ISOFIX system's unlock button
TIP: The ISOFIX attachment points are found between the base and the
back of your vehicle's seat.
2. Ensure that the five-point harness of the safety seat is installed
correctly (please consult Section 3).
3. Follow the steps described in Section 3.2.
