FOR A AND B KLASSE:
1. Remove the bumper (see fig. 1).
2. Release the exhaust from the rearmost exhaust rubber.
3. Remove the heat shield.
4. Remove the steel buffer beam from the vehicle. The buffer beam will
no longer be needed (see fig. 1).
5. Position the supports A and attach them at points B, then fit the whole
thing without fully tightening.
6. Fit the member section C finger-tight at points D and E.
7. Tighten all nuts and bolts to the torque indicated in the drawing.
8. Saw a portion out of the heat shield as shown in figure 2.
9. FOR A KLASSE Fl 2015 ->: Saw out the portion as indicated in
fig. 4.
Use the Brink smart position sticker to saw out the indicated section
from the bumper.
10. FOR VEHICLES WITH PDC: attach the cables with tie-wraps.
11. Seal the portions indicated (see fig. 3).
12. Replace the items removed in step 1 and 2.
13. Fit the ball hitch, including socket plate.
14. Tighten all nuts and bolts to the torque indicated in the drawing.
FOR CLA KLASSE:
Remove the rear-light units.

2. Remove the plastic cover plate in the centre on the underside. (see fig.
2a).
3. Remove the steel buffer beam from the vehicle. The buffer beam will
no longer be needed (see fig. 1a).
4. Position the supports A and attach them at points B, then fit the whole
thing without fully tightening.
5. Fit the member section C finger-tight at points D and E.
6. Tighten all nuts and bolts to the torque indicated in the drawing.
7. FOR VEHICLES WITH PDC: attach the cables with tie-wraps.
8. Seal the portions indicated (see fig. 3).
9. Replace the items removed in step 1a and 2a.
10. Fit the ball hitch, including socket plate.
11. Tighten all nuts and bolts to the torque indicated in the drawing.
Remove the bumper (see fig. 1a).

NOTE:
* Should this installation process entail the cutting of the bumper –
conformation MUST be obtained by the installation engineer of the
customer's acceptance prior to completion. Brink Towing Systems
do not accept responsibility for any matters arising as a result of
this miscommunication.
* All measurements are in mm!
* The dealer should be consulted for possible necessary adjustment(s)
"of the vehicle".
* Remove the insulating material from the contact area of the fitting
points.
* Consult your dealer for the maximum tolerated pull weight and ball hitch
pressure of your vehicle.
* Do not drill through electrical-, brake- or fuellines.
* Remove (if present) the plastic caps from the spot welding nuts.
* This fitting instruction has to be enclosed in the vehicle documents after
fitting the towbar.
* Brink is not liable for damage caused directly or indirectly by incorrect
assembly, including the use of unsuitable tools, the use of other assem-
bly methods and means than the ones outlined, and the incorrect inter-
pretation of these assembly instructions.

MONTAGEANLEITUNG:
Vor Beginn des Einbaus ist anhand der Typplakette der Anhänge-
kupplung festzustellen welches Bild in der Einbauanleitung
maßgebend ist.
FUR A UND B KLASSE:
1. Die Stoßstange abmontieren (siehe Abb. 1).
2. Den Auspuff aus der hinteren Gummiaufhängung herausnehmen.
3. Das Hitzeschild abmontieren.
4. Die Stoßstange einschließlich des stählernen Stoßbalkens vom
