Important safety information
▪ Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capacities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge if they
are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the appliance
safely and they understand the hazards involved.
▪ This appliance must not be used by children. The appliance and its
connecting cable must be kept out of the reach of children.
▪ Children must not play with the appliance.
▪ The appliance must always be disconnected from the mains by
means of pulling out the mains plug when there is no supervision
present, if a fault occurs during operation and prior to any
assembly, disassembly or cleaning work.
▪ If the appliance's power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its after-sales service or a similarly qualified person if
hazards are to be avoided.
▪ Exercise caution when pouring hot liquids into a compact kitchen
appliance. The liquid could be expelled from the appliance again in
the form of sudden flash steam.
▪ This appliance is designed for use in households and similar
environments, such as:
⋅ Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other commercial
environments;
⋅ Farmhouses;
⋅ By guests at hotels, motels and other residential facilities;
⋅ At bed-and-breakfast establishments.
The appliance is not intended for purely commercial use.
▪ Be careful of the sharp cutting blades when emptying the bowl and
when cleaning the appliance.
▪ After using the appliance and accessories, clean all surfaces/
parts that have come into contact with food. Please follow the
instructions in the "Cleaning and care" section.
▪ Switch the appliance off and disconnect it from the mains supply
before changing accessories or approaching parts that move during
use.

Improper use may result in electric shocks or other hazards.
▪ Accessories other than those supplied with the device must contain
instructions for their safe usage.

damage caused by a failure to heed the instructions. Keep this instruction manual in a safe
place and pass it on to any subsequent user together with the appliance. Please also note the warranty
information at the end of the instruction manual.
Intended use
This appliance is intended for use in household environments. The appliance is not intended for purely
commercial use.
The food processor has been designed to chop and mix soft food and beverages. Any other use or use
that extends beyond this shall be deemed unintended.
The safety precautions must be observed during use. We accept no liability for any damages caused
in cases of misuse, incorrect operation, failure to observe this instruction manual or improper repairs.
Warranty claims are likewise excluded in such cases.

Safety information
Dangerous supply voltage!
Incorrect electrical installation or too high a supply voltage may cause electric shocks.
▪ The appliance should be connected only to earthed wall sockets that have been installed in
accordance with the regulations. The power cable and plug must be dry.
▪ The mains plug must be freely accessible so the appliance can be disconnected easily from the
mains in an emergency.
▪ Do not use the appliance and immediately remove the mains plug if:

you suspect that the device may be defective following a fall or similar incident.

▪ Do not open the casing. Repairs should be carried out by a professional. Please contact an
authorised service centre. Liability and warranty claims are voided if you attempt to repair the
appliance yourself or connect and operate the appliance incorrectly.
▪ Do not immerse the appliance itself, the power cord or the mains plug in water.
▪ Use the appliance only indoors in dry conditions. Never operate it in damp rooms or in the rain.
