Right-angle stitch
While sewing into the corner, stop the machine and turn the balance wheel to lower the needle. Raise
the presser foot, turn the fabric around the needle, then lower the presser foot and sew in the new
direction.
Zigzag stitching

Simple zigzag stitches are often used for hemming, making button holes and elastic bends.
