Step 5: Access to the application
The access data are requested. By default, these are:
User: superuser
Password: superuser
Step 6: Search for installed devices
REMARK: Before proceeding with this step, make sure that the devices are connected as shown on
page 3
The Locate Devices window will appear. The "Start" and "End" parameters define the MODBUS range of
addresses where devices are searched for. To reduce search time, the END parameter must be configured with the
highest MODBUS address assigned in the installation.
To save each device, press the "Save" button.
If no devices are found, go to page 7.
Step 7: Registering the located devices
After a few moments, the application displays a list of devices found.
To save each device, press the "Save" button. This opens a new window where the data for each device are
defined:
To facilitate subsequent location, it is advisable to assign a different name to each device, enter the name chosen
in the "Name" field and press "OK".
If after 5 minutes the application cannot find any device, check the configuration of the AKO-80039
converter (see the following page) and the range of addresses defined.

The application is ready to operate. View the AKONet user manual by pressing the ? icon at the top right
hand side of the application.
