1. Please read the following information and
keep it for future reference.
2. This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with limited
physical, sensory or mental abilities or with
lack of experience or lack of knowledge,
unless they are supervised by a person who
is responsible for their safety or have been
instructed on how to use the appliance.
3. Children should be supervised in order to
ensure that they do not play with the appli-
ance.
4. Keep the appliance out of the reach of child-
ren.
5. Connect appliance only to an AC power sup-
ply with voltage corresponding to the voltage
on the rating plate.
6. Do not operate this appliance with an exter-
nal timer or remote control system.
7. Never immerse the appliance or the power
cord in water or other liquids.
8. This appliance is intended for domestic and
similar use such as:
ƒ staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and
other working environments;
ƒ agricultural enterprises;
ƒ by clients in hotels, motels and other
accommodation facilities;
ƒ bed and breakfast accommodations and
holiday homes.
9. Do not clean the appliance or power cord
in a dishwasher. However, the grill plate is
dishwasher-safe.
10. The electric grill should never come into
contact with water or other liquids. In case
this ever happens, all parts must be com-
pletely dry before operating the appliance
again.
11. Never touch the appliance or power cord
with wet hands.
12. For safety reasons, never place the appli-
ance on hot surfaces, a metal tray or a wet
surface. Do not place the appliance or power
cord near open flames during operation.
13. Always use the electric grill on a level,
uncluttered surface.
14. If you use an extension cord, make sure that
it is intact and suitable for the power draw
of the appliance; otherwise, there is a possi-
bility of overheating.
15. If you use a cable reel as an extension cord,
the power cord must be completely unwound
to prevent the possibility of overheating.
16. Route the power cord and extension cord,
if used, so that there is no possibility of the
cords being pulled or tripped over.
17. Use the electric grill only indoors or in pro-
tected outdoor areas, such as a balcony or
other covered area.
18. Do not place the electric grill directly next
to a wall or near flammable materials during
use.
19. When in use, never cover the electric grill
with aluminum foil or other materials that
could cause the appliance to overheat.
20. Never use charcoal or other flammable fuels.
21. Protect the floor beneath the appliance to
prevent damage from splashing grease.
22. Do not touch the grill and the grill plate as
long as they are still hot - danger of burns!
23. Do not use the appliance with accessories of
other manufacturers or brands, in order to
prevent damage.
