The current setting for the rotor head type flashes in
the bottom line. Use the 3-D digi-adjustor to select the
correct type for your model (

Selecting the stick position for throttle
idle / collective pitch minimum
Menu: TH
The collective pitch stick controls the collective pitch
function and simultaneously the motor via the throttle
curve. The idle position of the transmitter control for
throttle idle / collective pitch minimum can be forward
(towards the aerial) or back (towards you).
When you set up a new model, the default setting is
THROTTLE R = 0,
i.e. the idle position for throttle and
collective pitch minimum is "back".
Moving to the "GAS R" menu:
to MENU,
(MODEL appears),
to TH
R,
"0" or "1" flashes. Use the 3-D digi-adjustor to select:
THR R = "0" : idle / coll. pitch minimum back
THR R = "1" : idle / coll. pitch minimum forward
A brief press
on the 3-D digi-adjustor concludes the
process. The value is stored.
Note: throttle servo / speed controller works in the
wrong "sense"
If you have decided on the idle position, but the power
system in your model runs to full-throttle at this setting,
you must reverse the throttle servo. The collective
pitch minimum / idle position must be left as it is, to
ensure that THR-CUT (= throttle cut = emergency mo-
tor OFF) and throttle check (
16.2.1.).
R (Reverse)

16.3.6.
Throttle trim and the collective pitch stick
The trim button adjacent to the collective pitch stick
affects the value set as THRMIN (
The trim is only effective if the throttle curve is com-
pletely blocked by the throttle limiter (throttle limiter at
its end-point). In the menu point SP+L R (Spoiler +
Limiter Reverse) you can select whether the right-hand
slider has to be at its forward or back end-point for this.
If you operate the slider from above, the default setting
is "back" (towards the pilot).
16.3.7.
Selecting the right-hand slider minimum
setting forward / back
(Throttle Limiter and Direct Throttle)
Menu: (
We named this menu "SP+L R" since the right-hand
slider controls the SPOILER (SP) function in fixed-wing
model aircraft. In the case of helicopters this slider acts
as limiter (L) for throttle, and / or as the transmitter
control for direct throttle (DTC).
The current slider function depends on the actual posi-
tion of the DTC switch (Direct Throttle Control).
DTC = ON
The right-hand slider controls the throttle
servo (or speed controller) directly. The collective
pitch stick (i.e. the throttle curve) has no effect on
the throttle setting.
DTC (Direct Throttle Control) is useful for starting
a glow motor or adjusting the carburettor.
DTC = OFF
The right-hand slider acts as a throttle limiter,
i.e. the throttle setting set by the throttle curve can
only rise to the point set by the limiter.
This is the normal state when flying. Throttle is
controlled by the collective pitch stick via the throt-
tle curve.
Moving to the SP+L R menu:
to MENU,
(MODEL appears),
to SP+L R,
"0" or "1" flashes. Use the 3-D digi-adjustor to select:
SP+L R = "0" :
Limiter / Direct Throttle minimum back
SP+L R = "1" :
Limiter / Direct Throttle minimum forward
A brief press ( ) on the 3-D digi-adjustor concludes the
process. The value is stored.
