4.1- ARRANGEMENT OF THE BARRIER - LEFT OR RIGHT
By means of the easily reversed connecting rod system, the barrier rod can be assembled to the right or to the left.
STOP 1000 and STOP 1001 barriers:
As standard the barrier is supplied "left with rod inside" (fig.8). To have the "right barrier with rod inside" disassemble connecting rod A and
connecting rod B, and assemble them on the other side as shown in fig. 9.
PASS 220 barriers:
To arrange the barrier "left with rod inside" (fig. 14) assemble the connecting rod as indicated in the detail of fig. 14 so that the number 2 prin-
ted on the connecting rod matches the number 2 printed in the motor shaft.
To arrange the barrier "right with rod inside" (fig. 15) assemble the connecting rod as indicated in the detail of fig. 15 so that the number 1
printed on the connecting rod matches the number 1 printed on the motor shaft.
4.2 - POSITIONING AND ADJUSTMENT OF THE LIMIT SWITCH
STOP 1000 and STOP 1001 barriers:
IMPORTANT: The opening and closing limit switches are positioned in opposite positions in relation to the left barrier (fig. 8) or to the right bar-
rier (fig. 9). Make sure that the electric connection is correct.
• To adjust the opening and closing limit switches remove the pawl considered from its position and fasten it in the most suitable position
(fig. 11).
• Fasten the dowel carefully when the barrier is adjusted.
PASS 220 barriers:
IMPORTANT: In relation to the right or left barrier position the cams which act on the limit switches correctly.
For left barrier:
• With barrier open and reducer connecting rod A up, position the red cam on limit switch C (fig. 16).
• With barrier lowered and reducer connecting rod A down, position the green cam on limit switch B (fig. 17).
For right barrier:
• With barrier open and reducer connecting rod A up, position the red cam on limit switch D (fig. 18).
• With barrier lowered and reducer connecting rod A down, position the green cam on limit switch B (fig. 19).
CAUTION
The operations described above must be performed with the power switched off.
4.3 – ROD BALANCING
STOP 1000 and STOP 1001 barriers:
The tension of the balancing spring is adjusted depending on the length of the rod and of any extra accessories.
The barrier is supplied with the spring calibrated for a standard rod. To increase or decrease the tension, move the hook to one of the next holes
on the half moon.
BE CAREFUL WITH HANDS
The operations described above must be performed with the spring uncompressed (barrier open).
4.4- OPENING THE BARRIER WHEN THERE IS A POWER CUT
When there is a power cut the barrier can be opened manually after it is unlocked as follows:
STOP 1000 and STOP 1001 barriers:
Using the key turn the unlocking screw S on the reducer shaft clockwise (fig. 13).
To reset electrical operation turn the unlocking screw S anticlockwise to the stop.
PASS 220 barriers:
Push the unlocking lever T upwards (fig. 20).
To reset electrical operation return level T to the initial position.

4.5 - GUARANTEE CONDITIONS
Our products have a 12-month guarantee running from the date of installation. Guarantee is limited only to free repairs or replace-
ments of the items found to be defective. Guarantee is not valid in case the products have been tampered with, changed, not properly
installed or in case they have no identification label carrying the production code and date. We refuse all responsability for any damages
which, directly or indirectly, may result to people, things and animals, fail to observe all indications in the instructions manual, and
especially as for the instructions concerning installation, use and safety and the non-respect of the regulations and standards ruling in
the country where the installation is to be carried out.
