PARKING BRAKE (A ) ____________________________________________

The brake hand lever is situated on the L.H.
side of the steering column. To operate move the
hand lever rearward. To release the parking brake
the hand lever should be moved to its forward
position. The brakes automatically engage when
the engine is switched off.
6.7 FORWARD/REVERSE CUTTING CYLINDER LEVER (G ) ________________
The forward/reverse cutting cylinder control lever is
situated on the right hand side of the operator.
The drive to the cutting cylinders is controlled by this
lever and to engage forward drive the lever should be
moved forward for normal rotation for cutting, or moved
backward for reverse rotation, for backlapping or
clearing cylinders. For the neutral position the lever
should be in the central position. The cutting cylinders
will not rotate until the mow foot switch (B Fig.5) on
the left hand foot plate is depressed.
