Once you have changed all the desired parameters, and the
MULTIcont BL-27/37 has confirmed the last parameter to be
changed, simply disconnect the flight battery without returning the
throttle stick to centre. If you now re-connect the flight battery, the
controller will immediately be ready for use with the newly altered
parameters (see also Section 3.0).

ROGRAMMING THE BRAKE OF THE
Default setting: soft brake. The brake is only triggered after a period
of 0,5 seconds.
Programming:
Option 1: (default setting)
Soft brake
Option 2:
Brake off, for model helicopters
Option 3:
Hard brake
Programming:
Controller will beep a sequence of 1 beeps repeatedly
This is question 1, Disable brake?
Full Throttle for yes, Zero throttle for No
Controller will beep a sequence of 2 beeps repeatedly
This is question 2, Soft brake?
Full Throttle for yes, Zero throttle for No
Controller will beep a sequence of 3 beeps repeatedly
This is question 3, Hard brake?
Full Throttle for yes, Zero throttle for No
Answering yes to any of the previous questions will break out of
programming mode, at which time the controller will be looking for
zero throttle in order to arm.
Important note:
Please note that this is the sole function which can be programmed.
Option 1 is the standard default setting.

16. BEC = B
ATTERY
LIMINATING
BEC means: power is supplied to the receiver and servos from the
flight battery. Do not use a separate receiver battery.
! Note: please bear in mind that the BEC system of the MULTIcont
BL-27/37 can only supply a peak current of 1.5 A for the airborne
receiving system. In practice this means:
Do not connect more than 4 standard (micro) servos to the receiver!
The current drain varies according to the power rating of the servos,
the frequency of control commands, and the freedom of movement
of the control linkages (!). If you have no means of measuring the
BEC current:
Carry out a test-run on the ground, operating the servos constantly
until the controller's low-voltage power-off circuit trips (=
discharged flight battery). During this test the controller must not
heat up excessively, and the servos must follow the transmitter stick
movements instantly, without problems or jitter.
If your model is fitted with more servos than specified, the BEC
circuit must be disabled and a separate receiver battery must be
fitted. In this case it is essential to disconnect the red wire (+) in the
receiver lead attached to the speed controller.

VOLTAGE POWER
OFF
The low-voltage power-off circuit of the MULTIcont BL-27/37 is
designed to switch off the model's motor when the flight battery is
almost flat. This ensures that there is still sufficient energy in the
battery to supply the BEC circuit, for a safe landing at the end of the
flight.
A rapid decline in motor speed is another indication that the flight
battery is almost discharged. Initiate the landing approach
immediately when you notice this.
If the voltage of the flight battery falls to only 65% of the initial pack
voltage, the controller automatically switches off the motor. When
the motor is switched off, the battery has a chance to recover to the
minimum voltage level, and when this happens you can switch the
motor on again for a short period if you first move the throttle stick
briefly to the idle / motor OFF position. This should only be carried
out once or twice during a flight.
