The Sulphur Reactor SR 400 is a ready to use filtration system for aquaria to remove nitrates
from fresh and salt water. Nitrate emerges from the decomposition of organic substances, i. e.
remaining food, excrements, dead plants, algae and micro organism. In addition, nitrate tap water
may contain higher loadings of nitrate.
These problems are well-known not only from the aquaristic field but also from over-fertilized
rivers and lakes. A reduction of increased nitrate loadings is necessarily required.
