Barrier adjustment
5.4
ADJUSTING THE OPENING/CLOSING
THRUST
This adjustment allows setting the thrust exerted on the
beam during operation.
-
Ensure the barrier moves smoothly when lifted/lowered
and does not jerk.
-
In case, act on the barrier thrust set valves (fi g.19) and
adjust their pressure with a screwdriver:
-
the SILVER valve adjusts the closing thrust;
-
the GOLD valve adjusts the opening thrust.
Information
Do not tighten the screw to prevent an excessive
compression of the internal spring and the consequent
alteration of the following settings.
5.5

CHECKING THE CORRECT MOUNTING

1
- Before operating the barrier, loosen the air vent screw
of the hydraulic control unit.
2
- With the barrier in motion, measure the thrust force at
the barrier end during closure.
Caution
The measured force shall never exceed 150N
(15 Kg).
If necessary, adjust the operating pressure of the
operator.
3
- Ensure the barrier motion is even and smooth, especially
during closing. Act if necessary, on the compensation
springs and the fl ow regulator.
4
- With the barrier in closing position, make sure the
articulated foot (if any) does not rest but simply skims
over the ground.
5
- With the barrier in closing position, make sure the
barrier does not rest on the supporting fork (if any).
Information
For a correct adjustment, act on the mechanical
stops.
The accessory "Articulated or pendulum foot" shall
only be used for the barrier AT164.
5.6
ADJUSTING THE OIL-DYNAMIC
BRAKING
!
Warning
This value is factory pre-set. Proceed only in case of
real need.
-
Remove the silicone coat around screws "H" positioned
to one side of piston "G".
-
Set the opening deceleration interval by adjusting the
upper screw.
By screwing tight, braking will be more effective and bring
to a complete stop; by loosening the screw, braking will
be softer until losing its effect.
-
Do the same with the lower screw to adjust the closing
phase.
-
Smear screws "H" with some silicone to prevent them
from loosening.
