We recommend programming the lowest output frequencies in the
modules furthest from the amplifier, and successively programme higher
output frequencies. This achieves the best width-frequency response for
the module.
10.3 Level of the PA amplifier
On the meter, tune the QAM channel with the highest output level. Adjust
the level of the channels, using the PA amplifier regulator (32), bearing in
mind that the TEST output (37) must be -30 dB.
If the installation features analogue channels in the RF band, the QAM
channel level should be set 5 to 15 dB less than the analogue channel
level.

WARNING: It is essential that the maximum output level reduction in
relation to the number of channels being amplified (including the EXT
input channels) should be taken into account. The maximum work level is
calculated by subtracting the reduction indicated from the maximum
output level indicated in the Table 5.
