programmed whenever you wish to polymerise at
boiling point.
Also, to prevent excessive moisture due to steam given
off by the polymeriser, TALLERES MESTRAITUA,
S.L. recommends you do not programs the unit for more
than 95 ºC. This temperatura, kept for the necessary
time, is enough for polymerisation.
STORING PROGRAMS IN THE MEMORY
The electronic controls of the unit allow you to store up
to 5 different memories. To store a program, proceed as
follows:
▪ First of all, select the program you want to store, as
explained in previous sections.
▪ Once you have selected the values you want to store,
select the program (P1, P2, P3, P4 or Pr) in which
you want to store the dosage by pressing the P key as
many times as required.
▪ Finally, keep the P key pressed for a few seconds. The
display will flicker once to indicate that the values
have been stored in the memory.
Memory Pr is reserved for the direct heating program
(look at the next section).
DIRECT HEATING PROGRAM
A direct heating program has only one heating time,
only one set temperature and only one keeping time.
Everytime you turn the unit on, the direct heating
program will be loaded by default. This situation is
indicated by pilot
.
In order to modify the values of this direct heating
program, simply program a cycle with only one rise and
save it in memory Pr (look at previous section). These
new values will be loaded everytime you turn the unit
on. If, by error, you try to save a program with several
rises in memory Pr, nothing will be saved.
USING THE PROGRAMS STORED IN THE
MEMORY
▪ To use a program stored in the memory, press the P
key as many times as required to select the program
you want (P1, P2, P3, P4 or Pr).
▪ Press the key
to display the values stored.
▪ Press the START/STOP
OPERATION
▪ Place the muffle tray in the bottom of the tank.
▪ Fill the tank with water up around 10 cm below the
rim. There should always be at least 20 cm of water
in the tank, to prevent damage to the heating element.
▪ Place the muffles on the muffle tray, using long,
sturdy gauntlets to protect against splashes, a face-
key to start.
mask and muffle tongs. TALLERES MESTRAITUA,
S.L. recommends MESTRA tongs. Close over the
cover.
▪ Switch on main switch (C). Some of the controls on
the panel will flash, indicating that the polymeriser is
ready for operation.
▪ Program the unit as indicated above to ensure that the
programs stored meet your own requirements. These
programs can be used and modified as required in
future.
▪ Select the program you want to run (P1, P2, P3, P4 o
Pr). If you do not select any program, then the direct
heating program will run (look at the previous
section).
▪ Press the START/STOP
program.
▪ In order to stop the running program at any time,
keep pressing the START/STOP
▪ Once the polymerisation program is completed, the
R-080404 / R-080406 disconnects automatically. If
alarm is activated, it will sound at the end of the
program (look at the Alarm section). To remove the
muffles, open the cover carefully, as steam pouring
out from the tank could cause burns. Use long
gauntlets and a face-mask, and remove muffles using
muffle tongs. Close over the cover.
▪ If there is a power cut, the unit retains in its memory
the parameters of the step in progress, and when
power is restored the program will continue from the
point at which it stopped. If the switch is turned off
before the program is completed, the furnace takes
this as a power cut.
▪ To run another program, first you must stop the unit
by keep pressing the START/STOP
▪ Turn the main switch off to disconnect the unit from
the power supply.
▪ Disconnect the unit via main switch (C). The fan
remains on until switch is disconnected to prevent the
control module from overheating.

DISPLAY MESSAGES

The unit can show some messages in display, to make
the use easier:

It means that the delayed start time is counting
down. Lower display shows the remaining hours
for the start.
