Identification and description of the safety labels

GUARD TUBE LABEL – PTO DRIVE SHAFT IDENTIFICATION.
The "code" line indicates the univocal product code: it is recommended that you write it down on the
inside back cover of the manual so that you can refer to it when requesting information and spare parts.

GUARD TUBE LABEL – MAIN SAFETY WARNINGS
a. Product range (ENERGY – EVOLUTION).
b. PTO drive shaft direction of assembly. It indicates the side of the PTO drive shaft to be coupled to the
tractor drive ( PTO ).
c. DANGER: Do not go near the working area or rotating components. It indicates the rotation speed.
d. Under no circumstances should you touch the PTO drive shaft while it is rotating.
e. It is mandatory to read the instruction booklet before using PTO drive shaft.

DRIVE TUBE LABEL.
WARNING: IF VISIBLE, IT MEANS THAT THE GUARD HAS BEEN REMOVED.
Do not use the PTO drive shaft without the guard; always make sure that the guards are intact and
working correctly. Please remember that a high percentage of injuries, including fatal ones, are
caused by missing or ine ective guards.

Always comply with the instructions listed on the label. Contact with rotating components may cause
serious, even fatal, injuries. Label used for the U.S. market.

General warnings and basic safety rules

The implement machine should be used only with the original PTO drive shaft, which is suitable in
terms of power, length, torque limiter and guard, as indicated in the use and maintenance manual of
the implement machine. If the PTO drive shaft characteristics are not indicated in the user manual of the
implement machine, contact the manufacturer directly.
The values shown in the table are suited for working angles of 5° and for rotation speed of 540 rpm;
higher working angles and/or higher rotation speeds may reduce the service life of the PTO drive shaft.
The table also shows the classi cation of the PTO drive shaft according to standard ASABE S331.6
