Fans with combustion engines
▪
Check the oil level (pre-filled ex works). Please refer to the notes in the motor
operating manual.
▪
Fill the fuel tank with petrol, at least ROZ91. E10 fuel may be used. Please
refer to the notes in the motor operating manual.
▪
All petrol-driven fans are equipped with single-cylinder 4-stroke motors.
▪
Start the motor according to the instructions in the motor operating manual.
5.2 Fans with an electric motor
▪
As a standard, the fans with an electric motor come with an electronic
startup current limiter (with the exception of fans protected against
explosion). This ensures that the fan starts up reliably whether operated by
power generating set or household mains supply.
▪
Power consumption is max. 13 A and the fan can thus be operated by electric
motor without intermediate devices.
▪
After connecting the cooling fan to the power source (mains current, power
generator,...) set the main switch to "ON" or "I".
▪
The speed of the cooling fan with electric motor can be continuously
adjusted using the governor depending on the required air volume.
▪
The selected setting can be read off at any time on the integral 7-segment
display (adjustment range 0 – 100%).
▪
Note: The motor takes a few seconds to reach the desired RPM due to the
integrated start-up current limiter.
▪
The electronics of the fan are factory set to ensure optimum performance
and safe start-up of electric motors. The electronics should never be
tampered with.
5.3 Inclination adjustment
▪
All FANERGY series cooling fans have
continuous tilt adjustment for the fan unit.
▪
To release the lock, press the red push button
or open and turn the yellow clamping lever
counterclockwise (FANERGY E16 COMPACT)
located on the right side of the frame
▪
The fan unit can now be adjusted continuously
from approx. +20° to approx. -20° (-6° at
FANERGY E16 COMPACT) using the gripping
area located at the top of the fan housing.
▪
Upon releasing the push button or after closing
and turning the clamping lever (FANERGY E16 COMPACT), the fan unit is
