▪
Adjust the airflow to the desired output using the engine throttle
(instruments with combustion engine) or rotary knob (instruments with
electric motors). Adjust the fan unit to the desired inclination angle, if
necessary. To do so, press the push button / clamping lever
side of the device.
▪
Allow the fan to cool down after operation before loading.
5.5 Water fog/high-expansion foam generation
▪
All cooling fan models (with the exception of cooling fans protected against
explosion) are available with an optional integrated water vapour cartridge.
▪
This water vapour cartridge is located in the centre of the outlet grille and is
equipped with a Storz C coupling.
▪
As a result, water vapour is available immediately after connecting a suitable
water supply (up to maximum 5 bar, flow approx. 200 l). This is possible
with or without the support of the fan airflow. The high airflow rate of the
FANERGY cooling fans allows for an atomization of the water vapour to
suppress gasses or dust.
Integrated water spray function
▪
To generate expansion foam, FANERGY cooling fans with integrated water
vapour cartridges can also be used quickly and easily in combination with a
foam net, air tube or a Z 2 proportioner.
▪
To do so, the foam net is mounted to the fan unit using the integrated tension
belt. The air tube is then mounted over the foam net and fixed with a belt.
▪
When using the foam net and/or air duct, please shorten the belt strap
provided to the required length to prevent suction into the fan.
Attention! Make sure that the tension belt of the foam net and/or air duct
