WARNING
Asphyxiation Hazard
■ When installing indoors the heater's exhaust
must be vented to the outside.
■ Failure to comply can result in asphyxiation
due to lack of adequate air supply or carbon
monoxide poisoning.
■ Carbon monoxide poisoning can lead to seri-
ous injury or death.

Outside Structure
To prevent recirculation of fl ue gas from the exhaust
outlet to the heater air inlet, an exhaust stack of
5ft./1.25meter minimum is required to be installed
onto the exhaust outlet. To protect against water en-
try when the heater is installed outdoors, a rain cap
is necessary. Optional accessory may be purchased
through the L. B. White Co. Rain cap or chimney.

WARNING
Asphyxiation Hazard
■ When this heater is connected to a fl ue pipe,
the fl ue pipe shall terminate in a vertical sec-
tion at least two feet long and suffi cient draft
shall be created to assure safe and proper
operation of the heater. A minimum draft of
0.20 in. w.c. is recommended.
■ Where back drafts may occur a vent cap
should be used on the exit from the fl ue pipe.
■ Horizontal runs of fl ue pipe should have a rise
of 1 in 10 away from the heater.
