Guide to Operating Telemetry
The System controller keyboard is used to control the telemetry functions of the System Sprite. Telemetry will operate on both
live main monitor and spot monitor modes.

Keyboard Controls

Joystick
The joystick is used to control the pan and tilt functions of telemetry cameras. It also provides proportional control
of high and variable speed camera heads and domes. Speed control is gradual depending on the amount of
movement on the stick towards its end stops.
Lens Keys
There are six lens function switches on the keyboard, these provide zoom in, zoom out, focus near, focus far
and iris expand and contract.
Note: Iris functions are only available on lenses that support auto-iris overide functions.
Auxiliary Function Keys
There are four auxiliary functions supported by the keyboard:
Wash
Press and hold for washer motor to run.
Wipe
Press to switch the wiper motor On, the LED illuminates, press again to switch
the wiper motor Off.
Autopan
Press to start camera autopan, the LED illuminates, press again to switch Off autopan.
Note: Using the joystick temporary overides the autpan facility.
Lamps
Press to switch the lamps On, LED illuminates. Press again to extinguish the camera lamps.
Please check the telemetry receiver manual for the auxiliary functions that it supports.
