DOFFING YOUR HELMET
When you have finished working, leave the work area wearing the respirator with air flowing into
the respirator. Once outside the contaminated area remove the respirator and disconnect from
the air source.
TEAR-OFF LENSES

Peel off the backing of the tape strip on the
tear-off lens and apply the lens to the outside
of the lens sewn into the hood.
SIDE PADDING SYSTEM CLEANING

Remove the side pads from the covers that
are attached with velcro.
FIGURE 8.2
For multiple tear-offs, apply the next tear-off
lens on top of the first tear-off lens.
FIGURE 9.2
Wash the pads with mild detergent. Once dry,
reattach them to the side pad covers.
