COOKING TIPS

The following factors can impact cooking results:
Food Placement
Place the thickest parts towards the outside of the dish and the thinnest parts
towards the centre of the dish by evenly distributing the food. Wherever possible,
do not stack them.
Cooking Durations
Start cooking on a short time setting, assess the result once the time has elapsed and
extend it depending on the desired result. Overcooking may generate some smoke
and char the foods.
Cooking Foods Evenly
Foods such as chicken, hamburgers and rib steaks must be flipped over once during
cooking.
Depending on the food type, if applicable, mix them from the outside to the centre of
the dish once or twice during cooking.
Allowing Time for Food to Rest
Once cooking is done, let the food rest in the oven for a suitable time, as this enables
the cooking cycle to complete itself and the foods to gradually cool.
Assessing Whether the Food is Done Cooking
The colour and hardness of foods help to determine whether they are cooked; this
includes:
– Th e steam coming out of all parts of the foods, not only the sides.
– P oultry joints can be easily moved.
– P ork or poultry do not contain any traces of blood.
– Th e fish is opaque and can be easily cut with a fork.

Browning Dish
When using a browning dish and a self-heating container, always place it on a heat-
resistant insulator (for example, a porcelain dish) to prevent damage to the rotating
tray and the guide ring.
Microwave-Compatible Plastic Film
When cooking very fatty foods, ensure that the plastic film does not come into
contact with the foods, as it could melt.
Microwave-Compatible Plastic Cooking Utensil
Certain microwave-compatible plastic utensils may not be suitable for cooking foods
with a very high fat or sugar content. In addition, the preheating duration specified in
the dish's user's manual must not be exceeded.

Proceed to the following verifications prior to contacting a repair technician.
Place a cup of water (approximately 150 ml ) in the oven and completely shut the

door. The oven light shuts off when the door is properly closed. Let the oven operate
for 1 minute.
Does the oven light light up?

Does the cooling fan run?

(Place your hand on the openings of the rear fan.)
Does the rotating tray turn?

(The rotating tray can turn clockwise or counter clockwise. This is normal.)
Is the water in the oven hot?

If the answer to any of these questions is "no", check your wall outlet and electrical
panel fuses.
If the wall outlet and fuses operate normally, CONTACT THE NEAREST
AUTHORISED REPAIR CENTRE.
