Setting Selectors
Begin by inserting your zig-zag stitch pattern
disc 1 onto your sew ing rnach ine. following the
steps given on page 47.

Most of your zig-zag stitching will be done in

To produce a plain zig-zag or a decorative

Adjusting Stitch Length
Any st it ch length setting from 1 to 4 will give
vou an open zig-zag stirch.
The higher the number, the more open, or
farther apart your stitches will 00 .
The area between O and 1 on the dial is used for
the adjustment of zig·zag satin stitch ing, a series
of closely spaced plain zig-zag stltches that
