• Periodically check to make sure that the
brake pads are 1 mm from the surface of
the rim (Fig. 4).
• If the brake blocks are equidistant but
are not 1 mm from the rim surface, to
reposition the brake pads at the correct
distance from the rim, use the brake
cable tension adjuster (C - Fig. 5).
If this is still not sufficient, contact a spe-
cialised mechanic.
