GETTING STARTED
Remote control: Insert the batteries:
•
Gently press down the battery compartment cover as shown in the
illustration.
•
Slide the cover out to open the compartment.
•
Insert two AAA batteries into the compartment. Pay attention to the
polarity markings (+ and -) in the compartment and on the battery. Slide
the compartment back in until it clicks into place.
Note: Remove the safety strip to use the battery.
Safety Instructions for the Battery:
•
CAUTION: Batteries may explode if replaced improperly. Replace them
only with those of the same type.
•
Use only batteries of the same type and size.
•
Be sure to insert the battery the right way round. Inserting a battery the
wrong way around can damage the unit.
•
Remove the batteries if you do not intend to use the device for a long
time. Otherwise, the battery may leak.
•
Do not attempt to recharge the battery. It is not designed for this
purpose and may overheat, explode or leak.
•
Never expose the battery to excessive heat, direct sunlight or fire.
Device: Power Connection
The mains adapter can be operated with alternating current of 100 240 V.
However, use a suitable plug adapter if the plug does not fit into the mains
socket. Plug the power cable into the power socket on the back of the
device. Insert the plug into the power outlet.
