10.4 PROCEDURE FOR REMOVING THE COLUMN WITH FIXED DRUMS FIG. 13
1) Disconnect and open the door to access the drum column and the solenoids.
2) After having opened the door remove the righthand and lefthand steel grates. Unscrew the self-tapping
screws clamped on the side of the cabinet near the fluorescent lamp to remove the lefthand grate.
Unscrew the screws M6 that clamp the mounting brackets to remove the righthand grate. Before
carrying out this procedure set out some reference points in order to remount it in the original position.
3) Using the bar unhook the pistons from the drums, if the solenoid column is equipped with, otherwise
unscrew the column and remove it from the drums. Also here it is advise to set out some reference
points to remount the column correctly.
4) Close the door, put the vending machine on the back and open again the door.
5) Remove the bottom plate, unscrew and remove the gearbox unit.
6) Unscrew the plate holding the bush and remove the whole (part.1-2-3 fig 13). Set out some reference
points around the plate in order to remount everything in the correct position.
7) Move the column to the bottom of the machine so that its shaft exits the plastic bushing (part. 7 fig. 13).
8) Take out horizontally the column from the cabinet and lay it upside down on a pallet.
9) Remove the key (part. 4 fig. 13), the plugs (part. 5 fig. 13) that clamp the dragging hubs (part. 6 fig. 13)
and take out the drums.
