Two sliding latches (marked "OPEN") provide a
fast, easy method of opening and closing the transmit-

The robust carry handle provides a safe method
of carrying the transmitter, and also protects the rear
face when you set the transmitter down.
As is usual with MULTIPLEX, the ROYAL
also fitted with a MULTIPLEX multi-function socket
installed as standard (marked "CHARGE"). It is used
as:

interface for a 'closed-loop' receiver connection
(without RF transmission) for programming and ad-

The TORX screwdriver (size T6), which resides

The transmitter battery is fitted with a thermal fuse
which protects the battery - and above all the trans-
mitter - from short-circuit, reversed polarity and ex-
cessive currents. The transmitter does not feature
a separate fuse. For this reason it is essential to
use genuine MULTIPLEX transmitter batteries de-
signed for this transmitter.
