Instruction for Use
1. Press the "On/Off" button to switch on the weigh scale
2. Press the "On/Off" button again to choose the weighing unit between "lb & oz"
and "kg" before the "0.00" view showing on the display screen
3. The last weighing result should be shown before the "0.00" (kg/ lb&oz) view
showing on the display screen. When both the "0.00" (kg/ lb&oz) and " " signs are
shown on the display screen, the scale is ready for use.
4. If weighing with an object, such as towel, remember to press "TARE" button to tare
the scale before use. The tare function will be disabled if the weight showing on
the display is over 0.5kg.
5. Place the infant on the scale when"0.00" (kg/ lb&oz) view appears on the display.
6. The figures will be blinking while weighing. The actual weight of baby will be
shown on the display when the word "HOLD" appears. The scale will switch off
automatically in approximately 1 minute.
7. If there is another weighing, take the infant away first. Press the "HOLD" button
until the display return to "0.00kg" before another measurement.
8. The weighing tray can be detached by turning the switch, which is located under
the scale. Replace the weighing tray by the weighing plate if indicated.
Follow the direction sign when tighten and loose the tray or plate.
It is recommended that the weighing plate should ONLY be used if the baby can
sit upright by itself.
Cautions
1. Do not strike the scale with hard and sharp objects and avoid strong vibration.
2. Avoid putting object which is heavier than the maximum capacity of scale
(50kg / 100lb)
3. Change the battery when Low-battery indicator shows on the display screen
4. The scale should never get wet. Only clean the scale with soft cloth and natural
cleaning products.
5. Protect the feet of weighing tray and weighing plate well. Damages to these parts
would lead to inaccurate readings.
