Emergency stop device
NOTICE
The vehicle is equipped with an emergency stop device. After turning on the
EMERGENCY STOP switch (13) and the switch latch (t) or entering the PIN
(o), automatic confirmation is requested.
Emergency stop display
If problem is detected in the steering or braking system, a notice appears on the
operator display (t) or the onboard computer (o).
Triggering the emergency stop
If during travel a problem occurs in the steering system that could endanger the safety
of the operator, the vehicle automatically comes to a controlled stop.
Resetting the emergency stop
– Turn off the EMERGENCY STOP and switch latch and turn them on again.
NOTICE
If the emergency stop notice appears on the operator display(t) or onboard
computer (o) even after the emergency stop has been reset numerous
times, a manufacturer service technician must be contacted for repair.
IMPORTANT If the vehicle has come to an emergency stop in a dangerous area or shelving
aisle, it can be moved to safety only using the mechanical substitute steering
(emergency steering drive) (see section 5)!

Emergency Lowering

Do not use the emergency lowering if any persons are located in the danger
zone.
If the mast cannot be lowered due to a
problem in the lift controller, activate the
emergency lowering valve (23) on the
valve block (from the tank) with an
SW 10 open-end wrench.

Always operate the emergency
lowering valve standing next to

– Turn off the EMERGENCY OFF
switch and switch latch.
– Pull out the battery connector.
– Remove the armature cover (chapter G)
– Open the lowering valve using the appropriate tool. Slowly lower the mast and the
load carrier.
– After lowering, close the emergency lowering valve.

Do not start up the vehicle until the problem has been resolved.
