Measure your blood pressure at normal body temperature and not if you
are too hot or too cold.

Wait around five minutes before repeating the measurement.
If you record a value that differs greatly from your normal blood pressure
measurement, you should take another measurement around five minutes
later. This will allow you to rule out any of the factors mentioned above, which
could result in an incorrect measurement.
8.1. Have a doctor interpret your measurements
After you measure your blood pressure, a doctor should interpret the values
and diagnose them. The doctor will tell you which blood pressure level is
normal for you, and which abnormalities you should report if they occur.
