This function enables enables maintenance of the memory data of a vehicle
during battery changing or whenever the battery is disconnected from the
vehicle circuit.
ATTENTION: THIS FUNCTION DOES NOT PROTECT THE CHARGER
AGAINST REVERSE POLARITY. RISK OF DAMAGE!
