13. Transporting the sprayer

Before transporting the sprayer, follow the steps below to prevent personal injuries and damaging the sprayer.
• Allow the engine to cool before transporting the sprayer. Handling it when the engine is hot, may cause burns. There is also a
risk of fire;
• Drain the agrochemical solution from the tank;
• Make sure the fuel tank cap is firmly tightened to prevent leaks;
• Secure the spray lance where indicated next to the tank;
• Make sure to transport the sprayer leveled to prevent fuel or oil from leaks;
• Make sure the sprayer is properly secured inside a vehicle to prevent turnover during transport;
• Do not ride in a vehicle with the sprayer on your back.
WARNING!
• Before transporting the sprayer or storing it in an enclosed area, allow the engine to cool to prevent
serious burns or risk of fire.
• Tighten the caps firmly to prevent fuel or oil leaks. Spilled fuel or fuel vapor is flammable.

14. Storing the sprayer

In case of storing the sprayer for long periods of time, first follow the instructions described in "10.4. After the Operation", and then,
follow the steps and recommendations below:
1. In winter time, water may freeze. Therefore, empty all the liquid from the pump chamber after using the sprayer.
• Disconnect the sprayer hose from the pump chamber. To prevent the nozzle orifice from clogging, make sure there is no dust
or dirt in the sprayer hose or in the sprayer tank after disconnecting the sprayer hose.
• Start the engine.
• Move the throttle lever to half acceleration and keep it at this position for ten seconds so the pump chamber is completely
drained.
• Stop the engine.
2. Drain all the fuel.
• Check if the oil filler cap is tightened firmly.
WARNING!
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive. Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks in the area.
• Remove the fuel tank cap and drain the fuel into a container by tilting the engine towards the fuel filler neck.
• Push the priming pump several times until all the fuel has returned to the fuel tank.
• Tilt the engine toward the fuel filler neck again to drain the remaining fuel from the fuel tank into the container.
• Tighten the fuel tank cap securely after draining the fuel completely.
3. Change the engine oil.
