Using the Midi Heki
Closing the roof light without power (emergency operation)
If the roof light does not close with the rocker switch (for example, if a power failure
occurs), you can close it manually. An emergency crank set is included in the scope
of delivery for this.
➤ Remove the cover caps (fig. c 2) in the ventilation grille using the slotted screw-
driver.
➤ Undo the fastening screws (fig. c 1) using the Phillips screwdriver.
➤ Disconnect the power supply from the vehicle to the roof light.
➤ Disconnect the 12-V power supply line of the vehicle (fig. b 3) from the power
supply line of the roof light (fig. b 4).
➤ Press the motor unlocking (fig. g 1).
➤ Insert the emergency crank (fig. g 2) in the hexagon socket.
➤ Close the roof light by turning the crank anti-clockwise.
➤ Check whether the roof light is locked properly: Try to push up the pane of glass
with your hand (without using force).
➤ Reconnect the connecting cable.
➤ Fit the ventilation grille.
➤ Press the two cover caps (fig. c 2) into the ventilation grille.
Replacing the fuse (fig. b)
You can use the screwdriver from the emergency crank set (in the scope of delivery)
for this.
➤ Remove the cover caps (fig. c 2) in the ventilation grille using the slotted screw-
driver.
➤ Undo the fastening screws (fig. c 1) using the Phillips screwdriver.
➤ Disconnect the power supply from the vehicle to the roof light.
➤ Disconnect the 12-V power supply line of the vehicle (fig. b 3) from the power
supply line of the roof light (fig. b 4).
➤ Replace the fuse (5) (plane fuse 10 A).
➤ Reconnect the connecting cable.
➤ Fit the ventilation grille.
➤ Press the two cover caps (fig. c 2) into the ventilation grille.
