The lamp packaging is ideal to protect it from penetration from external agents.
The ceiling must be able to support 40 kg for each fixing point.
Warning against electrical or fire danger
Do not use the lamp in the event of damage to its components
Installation of the device must be carried out by qualified personnel only.
The device must be installed with a network omni-polar separation device, confor-
ming with Standard IEC 61058-1 and equipped with an earthing cable.
Verify that the power voltage indicated on the data label corresponds with that of
the network.
Do not carry out any maintenance on the lamp when the power is on. In other words,
disconnect the power cable before intervening.
Warning of falling danger from suspended mass
Comply scrupulously with the established maximum suspended weights.
Photobiological risk warning
The lamp is classified as Exempt from photobiological risk in accordance with EN
62471.
Nonetheless, it is not excluded that particularly photo-sensitive patients, or those
who take photosensitive medicines, might suffer erythemas or allergic reactions to
the light. In this case, suspend treatment and use low levels of illumination.
Warning of the danger of explosion
The device is not suited to being installed with the presence of inflammable gas or
excess of oxygen.
Warning of the danger of incorrect maintenance
Do not carry out maintenance operations or substitution of parts which differ from
those contained in the manual. Any intervention not indicated in the same might
compromise the safety aspect required of the device.
Only carry out maintenance operations contained in the manual; for any other case,
contact technical support.
Warning of the danger of damaging
In order to avoid damage to the product, do not push or force the light diffusion
panel.
Disposal warning
The product is covered by Directive RAEE 2012/19/UE
For scrapping or disposal of materials, comply with the legislation applicable in
your country, possibly through the use of recognized and authorized companies.
At the end of the life cycle, divide the materials according to type (ferrous, rubber,
plastic). Do not leave small components of the equipment unguarded or in the reach
of exposed persons (children), as they may be a source of danger.
The FARO company does not accept any modification to the product which has not been
expressly authorised in writing, on penalty of forfeiture of the safety standards and the gua-
rantee.
