USE AND MANTAINANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1 - USE INSTRUCTIONS
1.1-CONTROL PANEL (Fig.)
A - Lighting
B - Press this to switch on the hood at speed
4. Press it again to reduce speed until it
switches off.
C - Display
D - Press this to switch on the hood at speed .
Press it again to speed up until speed 4 and
then to switch-off.
E - Timer - this button activates the timer which
will switch off the aspiration engine after 0
minutes.
F - Optional remote control (Fig.)
1.2 - SAFETY
• Do not cook at the flame under the hood.
• Constantly check oil overheating while using the
deep fryer in order to prevent it from catching
fire.
• Before carrying out any cleaning operation discon-
nect the appliance by unplugging it or by switch-
ing off the circuit breaker.
• In the case in which the hood and other appara-
tuses that emit fumes are being used in the room,
do not supply with electric energy. The room
needs to be aerated.
• Do not leave the cooker on if it is not being used
• The hood has been designed to remove the kitchen
smells; any other additional use shall be regarded
as non-intended.
• It is advisable to turn on the hood a bit before
starting to cook and leave it on for approx. 15
minutes after or at least until the smell is com-
pletely removed.
1.3 - CLEANING
• Use only a damp cloth with neutral liquid detergent.
• Do not use wet sponges or cloths, water jets, thinners,
solvents, alcohol or abrasive substances.

2 - MAINTENANCE
2.1 - WARNING
Unplug the appliance or switch off the circuit
breaker before carrying out maintenance
operations.
2.2 - CLEANING THE METAL ANTI-GREASE
FILTERS (Fig.3)
For better functioning of the anti-grease filters,
•
they must be washed at least once a month.
Filters are dishwasher safe.
•
The filters may change colour slightly and
become opaque. Their functioning remains
unaltered.
If washed by hand, leave them to soak in boiling
•
water and washing-up liquid for a few hours.
Do not use brushes to clean the filters, as this
•
may ruin the texture of the structure.
If the filters are extremely dirty and grease
•
residues are present, the filters could catch fire,
therefore jeopardising the correct functioning of
the appliance.
Turn the knob to disassemble.

2.3 - LIGHTING (Fig.4)
To replace the light bulb:
Remove the bulb.
•
Replace the lamp with one that has the same
•
features because one with major power
may cause severe damage to the electrical
system.
3 - INSTALLING INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 - GENERAL INFORMATION
This hood has been arranged to be installed over
a cook top arranged in a peninsula or island. The
hood can be fixed to the ceiling or to another
supporting member by means of a trestle that
can be adjusted in height.
We suggest to have installation carried out
by qualified personnel, in compliance with
all the current regulations and in particular
with the ones concerning air exhaust. The
manufacturer cannot be held liable for
damages caused by improper installation or
if it has not been carried out according to the
state-of-the-art.
3.2 - SAFETY
Do not connect the appliance discharge
•
to exhaust ducts of smokes produced by
combustion that is not supplied by electrical
power.
