Press the START button. All segments of the
numerical display and all function symbols will
be illuminated for a short period.
The display indicates the pressure of the cuff
as it rises.
The unit inflates rapidly to a pressure of about
20 mmHg and then starts the measuring pro-
cess.
Now – at the latest - you should hold your hand
absolutely still and stop talking.
As soon as the unit registers the first beats, the
-symbol blinks in time with the pulse
rhythm.
After the measurement the built-in solenoid
valve opens automatically to rapidly release
the pressure in the cuff.
