When the appliance is functioning but not moving:
- Check the way the suction pad is fixed. The smooth side must be in contact with the bottom of the pool.
- Check if the filter and the pre-filter are clean.
To remove the dirt from the flapper:
Sometimes dirt can block the bottom of the appliance and stop the flapper from moving or limit the water flow. The flapper is located inside the body
of the appliance and must always be able to move freely. You can see the flapper through the opening of the deflector when you turn around the
appliance. (see drawing in figure 11).

Maintenance:
The hoover is practically free of maintenance. Regularly check the appliance and make sure:
- The flapper can freely move and that it is not blocked by any dirt.
- The suction pad is not worn out, otherwise it needs to be replaced.
- The appliance can stay in the pool except during chemical treatments.
- While swimming, it is better to disconnect the appliance and take it out of the water.
- When putting away the appliance, do not bend the hose. Do not put the appliance in a room with direct sunlight.
Exclusion of liability – Your pool and the hoover
Several factors contribute to the correct functioning of your pool. The automatic hoover is a harmless appliance that will have no negative impact
whatsoever on the structure of your pool.
Damages, differences in color, scratches etc., are generally caused by the wear-out of materials and can not be attributed to the automatic hoover.
