TROUBLESHOOTING

CONDITION
Radio does not
turn on.
Radio reception
is weak.
Cannot change
radio channel.

SOLUTION
• Check batteries to ensure
proper installation (using
polarity diagram embossed in
radio).
• The batteries may be weak.
Replace old batteries with
four (4) new "AAA" size or
TruTalk Rechargeable NiMH
Battery Pack.
• Press the UP button to
increase volume.
• The receiving signal may be
weak and out of range. Press
the MONITOR button to check
for other conversations.
• Move to another location
where reception may be
better.
• Press the MODE button until
the main channel digit flashes
on the radio display.
• Push the UP or DOWN button
to change channel. Press the
P-T-T to select.
