11. TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
The unit does not
operate.
The unit will not
recharge.
The jump starter
turns on, but
won't jump start
my vehicle.
Smart Cable LED and Alarm Behavior
BEHAVIOR
Green LED flashing
Green LED solid
(with beep and clicking sound)
Green LED solid
Red LED lit; long buzzer alarm
(sounds like "di- - - - -")
Red LED lit; buzzer beeps
(sounds like "di-di-di-")
Red LED lit (no alarm)
NOTE: Disconnect and reconnect the smart cable to reset.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
The battery is not
charged.
No power at receptacle.
The connections are poor.
The battery power is low.
The vehicle requires
more power than can
be supplied by the jump
starter.
Recharge the battery to
full charge.
Make sure the power
source is live.
Check connections.
Verify the charge level of the
jump starter is at least 50%.
Do not attempt to jump
start your vehicle more
than three consecutive
times. If the vehicle still
does not start, consult a
qualified service technician.
Ready to connect the smart cable to
the jump starter, and then connect the
clamps to the vehicle.
Detecting the voltage of the jump
starter and vehicle.
(SL1399U has only beep, no click.)
Ready to jump start the vehicle. After
jump start, disconnect the clamps.
Short circuit protection
The connection is reversed
