The above-mentioned instructions were validated as suitable from NOUVAG AG. The person accomplishing the treatment is responsible that the treatment
that actually took place leads to the desired results in the treatment facility with the available equipment, materials, and personnel. To ensure this it is
normally necessary to validate and supervise the process. Each deviation from the instructions provided should be evaluated carefully with regard to effects
and negative consequences.

6.3 Handpiece

It is important however to insure that the handpiece interior is well Nou-Clean sprayed, about 1
second.
The cleaning procedure for the handpiece is analogous to the Micromotor.
After packing handpiece, autoclave it at maximum 135°C.

6.4 Tubing adapter, Silicon tube, Handle

1)
Unscrew tubing adapter from handpiece (vide picture)
2)
Put adapter, silicon tube and handle immediately after the liposuction procedure,
in instrument cleaning solution with higher grease and protein dissolvent power
(i.e. Edisonite).
3)
Rinse parts well with pressure (i.e. with pressure water connection or perfusion injection) to
prevent build up of deposits and debris that can destroy them, if not removed. Wipe them with a
clean cloth dampened with disinfectant solution.
4)
Autoclave bagged Adapter, tube and handle at maximum 135°C.
12
Check for visual damage, corrosion and wear and spray the Electronicmotor
with NOU-CLEAN-SPRAY thoroughly and briefly wipe with a moistened cloth
(see illustration and instructions on the spray). Screw motor cover with cable
on the Electronicmotor after spraying.
Single: Pack the Electronicmotor in an individual sterile supply package. The
bag must be large enough so that the seal is not under tension.
Sets: Arrange the Electronicmotors into the foreseen trays or put onto an all-
purpose sterilisation tray.
Autoclave in vacuum autoclaves at max. 135°C for at least 5 minutes*. Do
not exceed the maximum load of the steriliser, if several instruments are
sterilised during one sterilisation cycle. Observe a drying phase for
autoclaves without post-vacuum. Allow the Electronicmotor to dry in the bag
with the paper side upwards.
*The temperature hold times must comply with the local guidelines and
standards.
No special requirements. The sterilisation indicator and sterilisation date
should be marked on the packing, if the sterilised Electronicmotor is not used
immediately after sterilisation.
