6.5 Secretion Jars with bottle lids.

After every use, Secretion Jars with bottle lids are to be emptied, rinsed and disinfected before
autoclaving at maximum 135°C.
After Autoclaving, allow Secretion Jars to dry for one hour at room temperature with the paper side up.

6.6 Bacterial Filter, hydrophobic

The Bacteria-filter between the Secretion Jar and Control Unit Pump is a one-
way device and Cannot be cleaned. It should be replaced periodically every
~8 h, or immediately should foam or bacterial substance appear.
In order to protect the pump, the Bacteria filter closes when it comes in contact
with liquid. So further suction procedure is not possible when the Bacterial filter is
saturated.

1)
Rinse Bacteria filter tube well with disinfecting agent.
2)
Clean with damp cloth.
3)

To insure proper function of the Suction Pump, all tubes and seals must be periodically checked, and
replaced after at most 250 sterilizations or five years operation.
The One-way Tubing Set No. 6017 and No. 6026 cannot be sterilized!
