SENDING DATA TO THE UC PROCESSOR

7.1

Programming Mode

For a UC to be programmed, the program switch (15) must be switched
ON; as this is done, the 'Programming' indicator turns on. While the
indicator is lit, the UC is ready to receive data from the PS programmer.
Once the UC has been programmed, the Programming Mode has to be
disabled by switching OFF the 'Program' switch. The 'Programming'
indicator turns off.
7.2

DATA TRANSMISSION

Select the desired function on the PS programmer screen and adjust the right
value of that function.
To transmit, press the T key. The programming led will blink to indicate that
the receiver has received the datum.
8.

DATA COPYING

The COPY function is provided, to avoid transmitting the UC module data
one by one. Aiming at the UC, press the F and COPY keys. The PS
programmer must be kept aimed at the receiver until the Copy...
message is deleted from the screen. The programming led will blink while
transmitting.
9.

DATA READING

Aiming the UC, press the F and READ keys, and Read... will be
displayed on the screen. All the data programmed in the UC will be read.
While reading, the program led of the UC will blink; the UC must not receive
other transmissions at the same time.
Keep the PS programmer aimed at the UC until the Read... message is
deleted from the screen.
