The UC processor is upgraded from a PC computer. To connect the UC
processor to the PC, a serial communication cable is required.
WARNING, The communication cable must be connected to one of the
serial ports of the computer (COM1, COM2, COM3 or COM4) or to a USB
port.

12. SOLUTIONS TO POSSIBLE ANOMALIES

P. PROBLEM
P. The PLL (12 or 17) connection indicator of the selected transponder
does not light up.
C. The transponder has a bandwidth lower than that selected and the
AFC (Automatic Frequency Control) is activated.
S. Deactivate the AFC (Automatic Frequency Control).
P. General signal quality problems.
C. Poor quality of satellite signal received.
S. Check the quality of the satellite signal by measuring the BER (bit error
rate) with a field measurement for digital signals QPSK at the satellite
signal output (10) of the last unmixing processor. The BER measured
after error correction should be lower than 1E-8. If not, check the
installation and direction of the antenna and external LNB unit.
P. General problems with the signal quality at the output of the
equipment.
C. Overlapping transponders at the output of the equipment.
S. Revise the programming plan.
P. General problems with the signal quality at the output of the
equipment.
C. Some receivers or field meters cannot function with a symbol rate of
less than 6000 Kbaud.
S. Try using another receiver or field meter.
