3.- GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
Its purpose is to stock a quantity of Chlorine and Bromine tablets in order to ensure a suitable water treatment in the pool.
Easily adapted on the suction pipe used in pools of between 30 and 120 m³.
Always use Thrichlorine CTX-370 or Bromine CTX-130 tablets. Do not use any other chemical product in the feeder.
4.- INSTALLATION
Installations must always be in-line, that means, on the suction pipe (direct passage, as showed in fig. page 2). Use rigid PVC
piping.
4.1.- Operation and starting up
When the feeder has been assembled, but before placing the disinfectant load, proceed to check the watertightness, operating
the feeder while still empty.
4.2.- Starting up
Place the 6-way valve in the CLOSED position. Close the suction valve. The feeder will be then sealed.
Open the cover and fill the feeder with the specified loads.
Close the cover, open the valves and start up the filtering equipment.
In order to expulse the remaining air in the feeder, unscrew the manual drain plug and expulse the remaining air. Close the drain
plug as soon as water comes out. Be careful with the water that may contain a high content of disinfectant. If there is little air
in the feeder, do not perfom this operation, as the feeder is equipped with an automatic drain that will expulse the air
automatically. Once the drain is connected, small air bubbles may appear in the suction circuit for a short period of time
oust after the starting up of the drainage).
5.- REGULATING THE FEEDER
A. First starting up with water without sterilizer: Place the adjustment knob in the position 10. Keep in that position for a
minimum of 24 hours. After 24 h., analyse the water:
If the sterilizer level is higher than 1,2 ppm for the BROMINE, place the adjustment knob in the position 6 for the
BROMINE.
If the sterilizer level is approx. of 1,2 ppm for the BROMINE, place the adjustment knob in the position 7 for the
BROMINE.
