5.3. Answering a phone call

Answering from the helmet
- The cell phone receives an incoming call (buzz that acts as a telephone ringing; the type of buzz depends on the cell
phone).
- Stop the vehicle in a suitable place in compliance with Traffic Regulations.
- Briefly press the "on" key.
- To end the call press key "on" and keep it pressed for about 2 seconds (double buzz in the earphone).
At the end of the phone call, you can switch the intercom mode back on by pressing key " " and keeping it pressed for
about 2 seconds (double buzz in the earphone).
Warning:
Some cell phone functions, for example silent mode, caller id, etc., may not transmit the ringing tone to the helmet.
In this case, try these functions prior to using the system while riding.
Note: Not all cell phones allow for a call to be answered directly from the helmet. This depends on the software installed on
the phone and not on the N-Com system. In case your cell phone does not allow you to answer directly from the helmet,
use the automatic answer function (see below).
Note: Not all cell phones send a ringing tone to the helmet (and to every type of earphone connected). In this case, turn on
the cell phone vibration function to be notified of an incoming call.
Note: If two helmets are in intercom mode at the time of an incoming call, connection to the passenger's helmet is cut off.
Warning:
If you are connected via cable to the passenger, the passenger will be able to hear the pilot's voice during the
phone call.
Caution:
Do not answer incoming calls while riding.
Automatic answer
- Preset your cell phone (if possible) for automatic answer when it is connected to an earphone via Bluetooth.
- When a call comes in, the cell phone answers automatically and you can start talking. If you are connected to the
Passenger (via cable or via Bluetooth), communication is automatically cut off.
Note: At the end of the phone call, you can switch back to the intercom mode by pressing key " " and keeping it pressed
for about 2 second (double buzz in the earphone).

5.4. Rejecting a phone call (HF profile only)

- The cell phone receives a call (buzz that acts as a telephone ringing; the type of buzz depends on the telephone).
- Stop the vehicle in a suitable place in compliance with Traffic Regulations.
- Press key "on" and keep it pressed for about 3 seconds.

5.5. Making a phone call

- Stop the vehicle in a suitable place in compliance with Traffic Regulations.
- Disconnect the passenger via Bluetooth by pressing the "on" key for about 3 seconds.
- Make the phone call as you would normally with your cell phone.
- At the end of the phone call, you can reconnect the passenger by pressing key " " and keeping it pressed for 2 seconds
(buzz in the earphone).
