SCAPE+ REMOTE CONTROL PROGRAMMING (separating 2 bases)
Separate Two Bases - for independent adjustable base movement,
perform the following numbered procedure.
STEP 1
Unplug both bases from electrical power outlet. Position
both bases on their sides, in close proximity to each other.
CAUTION: AT LEAST TWO PEOPLE ARE RECOMMENDED
FOR HANDLING AND MOVING ADJUSTABLE BASE.
STEP 2
Locate control box on both bases. Locate dual sync cable
(FIGURE 31).
STEP 3
Remove the male plug of dual sync cable from "3
Multifunction" port of control box of both bases
(FIGURE 31).

STEP 4
Turn both bases over so they are resting on their legs.
CAUTION: AT LEAST TWO PEOPLE ARE RECOMMENDED
FOR HANDLING AND MOVING ADJUSTABLE BASE.
STEP 5
Plug base 1 into electrical power outlet. On the control box
for base 1, using a pointed object, push the learn port in
two times in rapid succession. You will hear an audible click
after each push. Then, the indicator light and the underbed
light will light up (FIGURE 32).

STEP 6
On remote control 1, simultaneously press and hold the
head up and flat buttons (FIGURE 33) until the indicator
light goes off on the control box.
STEP 10
Repeat Steps 5 & 6 with base 2 and remote control 2.
Independent remote control operation is now
restored (remote control 1 operating base 1; remote
control 2 operating base 2).
